This is a crazy COVID-19 time!
So many of us are doing all the right things.
It's so important to think about some of the things you can do to boost your immune system. I am here for you to offer emotional and immune system support.
Change and instability can be hard for a lot of people. Especially since this is all so sudden. And by all means - not our choice. In this crazy time I want to make sure you are choosing to respond to the situation we are in with positive choices.
What we can do vs. spreading the virus of fear. You have control over what you do. And you have no control over what others do. You can choose how to react and what to do. Fear is not good for our immune system it's important to focus on all the things you can do to stay positive, productive and focused.
Basic things like... *Getting Extra Sleep and relaxing - The fact that we are forced to slow down a little is a blessing in disguise. Stress is often a huge driver of dis-ease.Sometimes we "Over Do It".
Staying at home, going to bed early, and getting extra sleep is a great way for our immune systems to recharge and actually work better!
Since we have extra time in our day, think of the opportunity we now have to cook with more wholesome foods.
I'm going to give you a challenge...
Think about what you will fill your shopping cart with at the grocery store to make your immune system stronger and more powerful.
Here are SEVEN items you can use to boost your immune system:
1. Exercise = You may not be able to go to the gym, but you can take walks outside in the cool fresh air. Enjoy the early Spring sun. 2. Meditate or do yoga to stay focused - Sign up for my free mediation education series for ways to get started. It's never too late!
3. Use Tapping or EFT techniques - Many of you have been to one of my workshops, so if you need a refresher to learn more about this, please let me know! 4. Stay well hydrated with clean filtered water to clean out any toxins or viruses that may want to leave your body with clean filtered water 5. Drink herbal teas like mint, ecinasia or Holy Basil for more nutrients or to relax. 6. Eat healthy! I know it's so easy to go for the bag of chips. Especially now when you want to self soothe the emotional eating piece of you. Nourishing foods support your body and 7. Supplements: Zinc, D, A, C, Probiotics, Elderberry, Garlic, Ginger are also immune boosting. EVERYTHING YOUR EAT OR DRINK EITHER FEEDS DIS-EASE or FIGHTS IT!
