Holli Bassin is a functional medicine health coach, speaker, workshop leader, and author of From Anaphylaxis to Buttercream

​

Holli helps her clients reverse the root causes of disease by providing education, nutrition, and holistic intervention. She supports individuals and families; integrating healthier functional nutrition and lifestyle options into daily lives to enable better choices. This has been proven to improve energy levels, better sleep patterns, improve focus, and reverse symptoms of chronic disease.

Holli has coached clients with gut related health issues and autoimmune diseases, such as:

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis

  • Multiple Sclerosis

  • Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO)

  • Hypothyroid issues and symptoms

  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

  • Numerous other health conditions. 

For years, I suffered from lower GI issues, including recurring SIBO. Specialists were unable to provide a definitive diagnosis or effective preventative measures. By happenstance, I connected with Holli who patiently analyzed what might be causing my GI issues and recurring SIBO, provided guidance for dietary changes, and recommended supplements to aid my healing.

Before founding Your Food Allergy Coach (2013), Holli was an accomplished Human Resource professional, respected confidant and advisor to senior executives on strategic issues. She coached numerous managers and worked with employees to solve workplace issues.  She brings those skills to help her clients cope with the challenges brought on by health concerns.

In 2015 Holli became a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and in 2017 published her book, From Anaphylaxis to Buttercream. In 2017, she also commenced her studies at the School of Applied Functional Medicine.

​

As a mom, Holli advocates for her own teenage daughters and serves as a resource for parents living with food allergies.  In 2014 and 2015 Holli’s daughter underwent a desensitization process and is now safely eating all of the foods that once caused severe allergic reactions. 

 

Holli frequently attends events, webinars, and lectures to keep up with current trends in functional medicine, nutrition and health awareness. She also teaches interactive workshops on nutrition, stress management, holistic intervention and lifestyle topics, and writes monthly newsletters on healthy eating.

Holli holds a B.S. in Management Science from Kean University and an MBA in Human Resources from Northeastern University.  

 

She lives with her husband and two children outside of Boston, MA.  As always, Holli lives a happy and fulfilling family lifestyle!
